The producing company helmed by the TV news and entertainment personality known for her work on "Today" and "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" also optioned the play for film and TV. Writer-actor Braly's monologue, directed by Hal Brooks (No Child…, Thom Paine), premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe, played Off-Broadway's 59E59 Theaters and then moved to Off Broadway's Soho Playhouse in 2008.
The play — subtitled 20 Years of Monogamy in One Terrifying Hour — explores the contours of Braly's 20 years of marriage.
