News Life Science, by BFF Writer Ziegler, Begins at Theatre 54 March 1 Life Science, a new play by Anna Ziegler (BFF), will play Theatre 54 in Manhattan beginning March 1 and running through March 9.

Joel Froomkin directs a cast that includes Allyn Rachel, Jon Norman Schneider (Durango), Megan Ferguson and Jake Speck.

According to press notes, "The play deals with teenagers living in a plush DC suburb and what it means living as a young teen in today's times."

Jack Thomas/Bulldog Productions (Almost Maine) is producing, and hopes to produce a longer run in the future.

Ziegler's BFF is currently at the DR2 Theatre, presented by WET (Women's Expressive Theatre).

Ziegler was recently selected to be a writer in residence at The Old Vic Theatre in London. Her plays have been developed at Sundance Theatre Lab, The Underwood Theater, Ars Nova, Soho Rep, The Lark Theatre, New Georges, Kennedy Center, Birmingham Rep and Belvoir St. Theatre in Sydney, Australia. Ziegler was a Dramatist's Guild Fellow for 2004-2005 and a member of the 2005 Soho Rep Writer/Director Lab and has been published in "Ten-Minute Plays for 2 Actors: The Best of 2004 and New American Short Plays 2005." She received her MFA in dramatic writing from New York University. Theatre 54 is located at 244 West 54th Street.
