News Liliane Montevecchi Will Return to London with New Show Paris on the Thames Tony winner Liliane Montevecchi, who has previously appeared in cabaret in London at Jermyn Street Theatre and Pizza on the Park and on the U.K. theatrical stage in Sandy Wilson's Divorce Me, Darling! at Chichester Festival Theatre in 1997, is to return to London to make her debut at Crazy Coqs with her new autobiographical show Paris on the Thames. She will begin performances June 24 for a run through June 28.

The show charts the story of her life from her Follies Bergere ballet days to Hollywood and Broadway. Her career began as a prima ballerina in Roland Petit’s dance company, before she appeared in films with Elvis Presley, Marlon Brando, Fred Astaire and Matthew McConaughey, amongst others. She is perhaps best known for her Tony Award and Drama Desk Award-winning role in the original company of Nine, when she won the Tony for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. She then went on to earn a Tony nomination for Best Actress in a Musical for her role in Grand Hotel. She has also appeared in concert at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center and toured internationally with her semi-autobiographical shows On the Boulevard and Back on the Boulevards.

She is accompanied by musical director Nathan Martin.
