News Lillias White Joins Bergman Celebration Concert Tony Award winner Lillias White has joined the roster of artists who will take part in Alan & Marilyn Bergman: Celebrating a 50-Year Collaboration.

Part of Lincoln Center's acclaimed American Songbook series, the evening featuring the songs of the famed lyricists will be presented Feb. 2 at 8:30 PM at the Allen Room. As previously announced, the concert will also feature the talents of Melissa Errico, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Jessica Molaskey, Sandy Stewart and Lari White.

Lillias White, who starred in the award-winning revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, garnered a Tony Award for her work in Cy Coleman's The Life. She also starred on Broadway in Barnum and Once on This Island and as Effie in the revival of Dreamgirls. White has also appeared in the Actors' Fund of America's benefit concerts of Dreamgirls, Funny Girl and Hair and was part of the cast of the City Center Encores! production of Purlie.

Oscar-winning lyricists Marilyn and Alan Bergman have written such songs as "The Way We Were," "The Promise," "Papa, Can You Hear Me?," "It Might Be You" and "What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life?" They also wrote the lyrics for the Broadway musicals Something More! and Ballroom.

The American Songbook season will also feature Mos Def's Big Band (Jan. 17), "Songs by Fred Hersch" (Jan. 18), Judy Kuhn (Jan. 19), Michael Franks (Jan. 20), Josh Ritter (Jan. 31), "Howard Fishman: Bob Dylan and The Band's Basement Tapes" (Feb. 1), "John Pizzarelli: Dear Mr. Sinatra" (Feb. 3), The Cherryholmes (Feb. 7), Calexico (Feb. 8), Jason Robert Brown (Feb. 9), Betty Buckley (Feb. 10), Ute Lemper (Feb. 21), Sasha Dobson, Jesse Harris and Richard Julian (Feb. 22), Neko Case (Feb. 23) and Jane Monheit (Feb. 24).
