PlayBlog Lin-Manuel Miranda and Freestyle Love Supreme to Rock Le Poisson Rouge Nov. 6 (Video) Tony Award winner Lin-Manuel Miranda, set to return to his original role of Usnavi for the closing weeks of his musical In the Heights on Broadway, will first bring his popular hip-hop improv group, Freestyle Love Supreme, back to New York for a concert at Le Poisson Rouge Nov. 6.

The doors will open at 7 PM for the 8 PM show.

Miranda, Christopher Jackson, Bill Sherman, James Monroe Iglehart (Memphis), Arthur Lewis and Chris "Shockwave" Sullivan (PBS' "The Electric Company") are expected to perform at the concert.

Miranda created Freestyle with theatre pals (including Heights' director Thomas Kail, Tony-winning orchestrator Sherman and actor Jackson) before In the Heights exploded on the scene, and he occasionally steps into bookings of the show when his schedule allows.

The show is billed as "a stage show like no other. Five performers take the crowd on a non-stop, hiphop improv ride, spinning cues from the audience into instantaneous riffs and fully realized musical numbers."

Le Poisson Rouge is located at 158 Bleecker Street. Tickets are $20, but seating is limited and first-come, first-served. An early arrival is suggested. For tickets and more information, visit lepoissonrouge.com or freestylelovesupreme.com.
