News Lin-Manuel Miranda, Christopher Jackson to Perform at 54/10 Music Marathon at Ars Nova Former In the Heights co-stars Lin-Manuel Miranda, who also penned that musical's Tony-winning score, and Christopher Jackson will perform with their freestyle hip hop crew, Freestyle Love Supreme, as part of the 54/10 Music Marathon benefit at Ars Nova June 20.

The benefit performance, directed by Tony nominee Thomas Kail (In the Heights, Lombardi), is set to begin at 8 PM with a dance party to follow at 9:30 PM.

Miranda and Jackson team up with other members of the In the Heights cast and creative team in Freestyle Love Supreme to "take the crowd on a non-stop, hip hop improv ride, spinning cues from the audience into instantaneous riffs and fully realized musical numbers."

Other members of the crew include Anthony Veneziale ("Trauma," PBS' "The Electric Company"), Chris "Shockwave" Sullivan (PBS' "The Electric Company"), Bill Sherman (2008 Tony and Grammy Award for In the Heights, music director for PBS' "Sesame Street" and "The Electric Company") and singer-songwriter Arthur Lewis.

Freestyle Love Supreme is also set to play Irving Plaza in Manhattan June 16 at 8 PM and Philadelphia's Theatre of the Living Arts June 17 at 8 PM.
