At his final scheduled #Ham4Ham concert, Hamilton creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda regaled folks waiting on line for the show's discount ticket lottery with a reading from a “kinda arrogant, kind of insecure, unbelievably romantic” 1780 letter written by Founding Father Alexander Hamilton to his wife Eliza.

He wore a T-shirt that read, “One last time.”

Afterward, he led the crowd in singing the traditional “Happy Trails” to his co-stars Leslie Odom Jr. and Phillipa Soo. Miranda, Odom Jr. and Soo all play their final performances in the show July 9.

Rory O'Malley, who has taken over the role of King George III in the musical, has also taken over hosting the #Ham4Ham mini-concerts, which are performed on the steps of the Richard Rodgers Theatre each Wednesday afternoon.
