Lin-Manuel Miranda, the star and creator of the smash hit musical Hamilton, has announced he will be on vacation next week and not performing on Broadway. The announcement was made in the March 26 digital Ham4Ham published on YouTube.

“I’m going on vacation next week to my undisclosed location under the sea where I recharge,” Miranda says in the YouTube video. He appears in it with fellow Hamilton co-star Jonathan Groff, who is celebrating his 31st birthday.

Production spokespersons did not immediately return a request for precise dates.

Miranda’s alternate, Javier Muñoz, announced on his Facebook page that he will be performing through Wednesday March 30 and twice on April 2, for both the matinee and evening performances.
