The Lincoln Center Institute for the Arts in Education has been named leader of the Association of Institutes for Aesthetic Education (AIAE), a group of nonprofit organization devoted to promoting arts education programs around the world. The 18-member association -- with representative from Australia to Montpelier, VT -- met last month at Lincoln Center to discuss strategies for reaching children, educators and administrators with the message that the arts are fundamental to learning.
During that meeting, Scott Noppe-Brandon, executive director of the Lincoln Center Institute, was elected president of the AIAE for a three year term.
