News Lincoln Center Institute Named Key Group in Arts Education Collective The Lincoln Center Institute for the Arts in Education has been named leader of the Association of Institutes for Aesthetic Education (AIAE), a group of nonprofit organization devoted to promoting arts education programs around the world.

The Lincoln Center Institute for the Arts in Education has been named leader of the Association of Institutes for Aesthetic Education (AIAE), a group of nonprofit organization devoted to promoting arts education programs around the world. The 18-member association -- with representative from Australia to Montpelier, VT -- met last month at Lincoln Center to discuss strategies for reaching children, educators and administrators with the message that the arts are fundamental to learning.

During that meeting, Scott Noppe-Brandon, executive director of the Lincoln Center Institute, was elected president of the AIAE for a three year term.
