Classic Arts News Lincoln Center Tree Lighting Ceremony November 26 Lincoln Center presents its annual holiday tree lighting ceremony from 5:30 to 6 p.m. on November 26.
Among the festivities taking place on the center's Josie Robertson Plaza are performances by Metropolitan Opera singers in an excerpt from the company's new production of Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel, New York City Ballet and School of American Ballet dancers in a selection from Balanchine's The Nutcracker, and folk singer Dar Williams. The Hot 8 Brass Band and The Big Apple Circus's Kovgar Troupe, along with Mickey and Minnie Mouse, will appear as well. The event is free and open to the public.

Broadcast live on WABC-TV, the ceremony will be co-hosted by Good Morning America's Sam Champion and WABC-TV's Sade Baderinwa.
