News Lion King Star's Aug. 20 Concert Benefits Actors' Fund of America Alton Fitzgerald White, who currently stars as Mufasa in the Tony-winning musical The Lion King, goes it solo Aug. 20 at the Triad Theatre.

White's 7:30 PM concert, entitled Broadway My Way!, benefits the Actors' Fund of America. Doyle Newmyer is the evening's musical director.

Alton Fitzgerald White has been seen on Broadway in The Lion King, Ragtime, Miss Saigon, The Who's Tommy and Smokey Joe's Café. He was also part of the London cast of Smokey Joe's as well as the national tours of Ragtime and Dreamgirls. For more information visit www.altonfwhite.com.
