Penn State University's No Refund Theatre will present a stage adaptation of "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" Nov. 5-7 at 9 PM in The HUB Flex Theatre.

Hailey Rohn directs the show, which is based on both the novel and the screenplay by Stephen Chbosky. Rohn was granted permission by Lionsgate to put the show on.

In an interview on onwardstate.com, Rohn said, "I’ve read the novel so many times that these characters seem like friends to me. There was a lot of pressure to pick the right actors for the characters, but there’s no character where I think I could’ve found someone better."

The cast of The Perks of Being a Wallflower includes Sebastian Pellegrini, Christie Fisher, Stephen Hill, Jason Burke, Katelyn Waltimyer, Caitlin Wolper, Jordan Santillo, Max Levine, Tim Farley, Connor Greeley, Jimmy Gaschler, Morgan Shires, Alex Erdman, Amanda Pasquini and Emily Adar.
