The revised Broadway version of You're A Good Man Charlie Brown and singer Capathia Jenkins have been added to the programming for the Summer Music Theatre Festival at Northwestern University.

Jenkins (Caroline, or Change) will join songwriter Louis Rosen for the concerts The Ache of Possibility June 25-27, while Charlie Brown (with additional songs by Tony nominee Andrew Lippa) will run July 1-Aug. 8.

As previously reported, Shoshana Bean (Wicked, Godspell) will headline The Johnny Mercer Songwriters Project: A Celebration of Stephen Schwartz on Aug. 7. Newly announced to perform in the concert are Lippa, Craig Carnelia, Lari White and Schwartz. Prior to the event, Schwartz will participate in a behind-the-scenes discussion about his life and work.

Also on the bill is Not Wanted on the Voyage, the new musical penned by Story of My Life writers Neil Bartram and Brian Hill, which will run July 15-Aug. 8.

The Johnny Mercer Foundation and the American Music Theatre Project present the annual event that offers master classes, workshops and performances in Evanston, IL. Leading the songwriting program intensive as master teachers are Tony nominees Carnelia (The Sweet Smell of Success, Is There Life After High School?) and Lippa (The Addams Family, The Wild Party), and Grammy-winning songwriter Lari White.
