A spokesperson for the upcoming production could not confirm a creative team or casting, but said the cast of 18 would be all Equity performers. A venue will also be announced shortly. The Wild Party debuted at MTC with a cast headed by Julia Murney, Brian d'Arcy James, Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel. Based on Joseph Moncure March's 1928 narrative poem about a violent, boozy 1920's party, the musical was directed by Gabriel Barre with choreography by Mark Dendy. That same season also saw another Wild Party, a Broadway version written by Michael John LaChiusa.

The Andrew Lippa score features such tunes as "Out of the Blue," "What a Party," "Raise the Roof," "Look at Me Now," "Poor Child," "An Old-Fashioned Love Story," "A Wild, Wild Party," "Two of a Kind," "Maybe I Like It This Way," "What Is it About Her?," "The Life of the Party," "Who is This Man?," "Listen to Me," "The Fight," "Come With Me," "How Did We Come to This?"
