News   "Listen": All Three "Dreamgirls" to Perform on Oscars; Film Nears $100 Million Mark
All three of the stars of the new movie musical "Dreamgirls" — based on the Broadway production of the same name — will perform on the upcoming Academy Awards telecast.

Fox News reports that Jennifer Hudson, Beyonce and Anika Noni Rose will perform, respectively, "Love You I Do," "Listen" and "Patience," on the 79th Annual Academy Awards. All three songs — penned for the film — are nominated in the Original Song category.

"Dreamgirls" director Bill Condon will direct those segments for the TV broadcast.

By the time of the Feb. 25 Oscar telecast, "Dreamgirls" will have taken in more than $100 million at the box office. During the Feb. 9-11 weekend, the film brought in $3,093,000, making it the ninth highest-grossing film of that period. To date, the film has grossed $97,119,000.

Ellen DeGeneres will host the annual Academy Awards, which will be broadcast live from Hollywood's Kodak Theatre beginning at 5 PM PST. The telecast will begin with a half-hour red carpet segment titled "The Road to the Oscars."
