The cast includes America Ferrera ("Ugly Betty"), Caroline Rhea ("Sabrina the Teenage Witch"), Eric Bogosian (Talk Radio), Rory O'Malley (The Book of Mormon), Charles Grodin ("Beethoven"), Kevin Cahoon (The Lion King), John Doman ("The Wire") and Michael Stuhlbarg (The Pillowman).

Nixon won the Tony Award for her performance in Rabbit Hole and was nominated for Wit and Indiscretions. Her stage credits also include The Philadelphia Story, The Real Thing, Hurlyburly, The Heidi Chronicles, Angels in America, The Last Night of Ballyhoo and The Women. Her television and film work includes "Sex and the City," "Amadeus," "World Without End," "The Big C," "The Babysitters," "Tanner on Tanner," "Igby Goes Down," "Marvin's Room" and "Addams Family Values."

Little Murders tells the story of the Newquist family. They meet their daughter Patsy's new boyfriend Alfred in New York, where random acts of violence are occurring. The original Broadway premiere only ran for seven performances, and the play was adapted into a film in 1971. Directed by Alan Arkin, the film starred Elliott Gould as Alfred and Marcia Rodd as Patsy.
