News Little Shop Star Ellen Greene at Work on New Holiday Recording Ellen Greene, the celebrated singing actress known for her work on stage and on the silver screen in Little Shop of Horrors, is currently putting the final touches on a new solo recording.

The CD, which is entitled "Songs for a Winter's Night," reunites the "Pushing Daisies" star with her long-time musical partner, Christian Klikovits, who is featured on piano. The two artists are joined by cellist Stephen Erdody.

The genesis of the new album was Red & Greene, a 2011 concert with the Gay Men's Chorus of Washington, DC, that featured Greene, Klikovits and Erdody.

Song titles include "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "Santa Baby," "Universal Child," "Morning Has Broken" and "Song for a Winter's Night," among others.

The recording will also feature Sara Parkins on violin, Sarah Thornblade on violin, Brian Dembow on viola, David Washburn on trumpet, Steve Becknell on French horn, Eric Rittner on bass and Tim Mcintyre on drums as well as a choir.
