Liz Callaway.

Callaway, who recently starred in the short-lived musical revue The Look of Love, will perform selections from her CD devoted to the music of the sixties — "The Beat Goes On" — at the 8 PM concert. José Luis Novo will conduct the orchestra; concertgoers can expect to hear such sixties classics as "Feelin' Groovy," "MacArthur Park," "Downtown" and "Where Have All the Flowers Gone." Liz Callaway made her Broadway debut in the original cast of Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along, and she also took part in the anniversary concert of that musical last year. For her work in the short lived musical Baby, she received a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical, and her other Broadway credits include The Three Musketeers, Miss Saigon and Cats. Callaway's solo recordings include the aforementioned "The Beat Goes On" as well as "Anywhere I Wander—Liz Callaway Sings Frank Loesser" and "The Story Goes On."

Tickets for Callaway's concert are available by calling (607) 722-6717. The Binghamton Philharmonic is located at 31 Front Street in Binghamton, NY. For more information visit www.binghamtonphilharmonic.org.
