Based on Billy Wilder's film noir classic about a fading Hollywood silent film star, Sunset Boulevard will run July 24-29, 2012. Additional cast and creative duties will be announced at a later date.

Callaway, who will star as Norma Desmond, appeared with the Pittsburgh CLO in Love Changes Everything: The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber this past summer.

Sunset Boulevard has music by Lloyd Webber with book and lyrics by Don Black and Christopher Hampton. It premiered in London in 1993 prior to arriving on Broadway in 1994. Sunset Boulevard earned Tony Awards for Best Score, Best Book, Best Scenic Design, Best Lighting Design, Best Actress (Glenn Close) and Best Musical.

Callaway was last seen on Broadway in The Look of Love. She made her Broadway debut in the original cast of Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along, and she also took part in the anniversary concert of that musical. For her work in the musical Baby, she received a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical, and her other Broadway credits include The Three Musketeers, Miss Saigon and Cats. Callaway's solo recordings also include "The Beat Goes On," "Anywhere I Wander—Liz Callaway Sings Frank Loesser" and "The Story Goes On."
