Liz Callaway returns to the part of Grizabella in Cats Sept. 22, exactly one year after she was last in the part. While she was absent, Linda Balgord covered the role.
Callaway appeared on Broadway in Miss Saigon, Merrily We Roll Along, and The Three Musketeers, as well as being Tony nominated for Baby. She has recently lent her singing voice to several animated projects including Anastasia, Lion King 2: Simba's Pride, The Swan Princess and both Aladdin sequels.
Cats, now in its sixteenth year, won seven Tony awards including best musical and became the longest running show in Broadway history on June 19, 1997.
