Aggie Gold, an agent for the 13-year-old soprano, sent composer Andrew Lloyd Webber two songs Ross had recorded featuring karaoke backing tracks. Lloyd Webber's assistant was so impressed with Ross' vocals that she made the award-winning composer listen to the cassette. After auditioning for Lloyd Webber, the Phantom composer asked the young singer to perform at his annual Sydmonton Festival, where she was greeted with a standing ovation. In a statement on the Really Useful website, Lloyd Webber says, "She's still only 15 and it is going to be great to see her develop, she has enormous potential to become a very big artist."

Ross' debut recording, "Moon River," was recorded in London during 2006 and was produced by the composer himself. The disc will be released in the U.K. March 5. The complete track listing follows.
