News Lois Nettleton Turns On The Gaslight, Sept. 26 She played Blanche DuBois on Broadway but is probably best known for her TV appearances and roles in such films as The Man in The Glass Booth and Dirty Dingus Magee. Now Lois Nettleton will appear in a staged reading of Patrick Hamilton's thriller, Gaslight, offered twice -- Sept. 26 and Oct. 1 -- by California Artists Repertory Theatre. (CART).

Now Lois Nettleton will appear in a staged reading of Patrick Hamilton's thriller, Gaslight, offered twice -- Sept. 26 and Oct. 1 -- by California Artists Repertory Theatre. (CART).

Presented at the Hollywood Woman's Club, 1746 North La Brea Ave., Gaslight will also feature Patrick Hamilton, Robert Legionaire, William Windom, Jeanette Nolan and Linda Henning.

Upcoming CART readings include Arsenic and Old Lace, with Jeanette Nolan; Corpse and Portrait Of Emily. Peggy Webber serves as director and producer of the series.
