News London Guys and Dolls Firming Broadway Plans The current London revival of Guys and Dolls will tour the U.K. this fall and likely see the Broadway stage in the coming season, Variety reports.

"The appetite from New York theatre owners is there," the trade magazine quoted producer Howard Panter, "and we're in discussion with two major stars, but it's like a jigsaw: We're all dependent on fitting in with director Michael Grandage's dates and he's very busy."

Guys and Dolls will launch its U.K. tour beginning in September, according to Panter. (Tour dates and venues can be found on the website at www.guysanddollsthemusical.com.) The West End run is currently selling tickets through September.

Ewan McGregor and Jane Krakowski began in the new production of the Frank Loesser musical at the West End's Piccadilly Theatre in June 2005. The cast currently features Adam Cooper, Neil Morrissey, Sally Ann Triplett and Kelly Price.

Michael Grandage directs and Rob Ashford provides choreography for the staging of Guys and Dolls. Donmar Warehouse, The Ambassador Theatre Group and Live Nation produce in association with American producers Arielle Tepper and David Binder as well as Tulchin/Bartner Productions and IC Productions.

Guys and Dolls was last seen on Broadway in 1992 in a Jerry Zaks-directed revival featuring Nathan Lane, Faith Prince, Peter Gallagher and Josie de Guzman.
