News London Les Miz Anniversary Concert Will Be Broadcast Live in Cinemas The 25th anniversary concert of Les Miserables, which will welcome original and favorite cast members to The O2 in London, will be broadcast live via satellite across Europe.

The 7 PM concert on Oct. 3 will be presented live in cinemas in Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Norway and the United Kingdom. Additional screenings will take place Oct. 4 in Canada and Oct. 21 in Australia. CineStage is the company behind the live in-theatre broadcasts.

As previously reported, the starry cast will feature Nick Jonas as Marius, Norm Lewis as Javert, Lucie Jones as Cosette, Ramin Karimloo as Enjoralas, Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean, Matt Lucas as Thénardier, Lea Salonga as Fantine, Jenny Galloway as Madame Thénardier, Camilla Kerslake as adult Cosette and the casts of the original production at the Queen's Theatre, the New 25th Anniversary Production at the Barbican, London and members of the original 1985 London cast.

Cameron Mackintosh's production of Les Miserables is written by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg and is based on the novel by Victor Hugo. It has music by Claude-Michel Schönberg, lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer and original French text by Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel and additional material by James Fenton. The original London 1985 production of Les Miz was adapted and directed by Trevor Nunn and John Caird.

The new 25th anniversary production and the O2 Concert are directed by Laurence Connor and James Powell and designed by Matt Kinley. The production has original costumes by Andreane Neofitou, additional costumes by Christine Rowland, lighting by Patrick Woodroffe and Paule Constable and sound by Mick Potter.
