News   London's Finborough Theatre to Offer World Premieres, Rare Revivals and Fundraising Event with Diana Rigg London's Finborough Theatre in Earl's Court is to offer the world premieres of Elizabeth Kuti's Fishskin Trousers, Anders Lustgarten's Black Jesus and Luke Owen's Unscorched, rare revivals of J.B. Priestley's Summer's Day Dream and Michael Hastings' Lee Harvey Oswald -- A Far Mean Streak of Independence Brought on by Negleck, and and a one night fundraising event, An Audience with Dame Diana Rigg.

Fishkin Trousers, which will be directed by Elizabeth Kuti, will begin performances Sept. 3 prior to an official opening Sept. 5, for a run through Sept. 28. Black Jesus, which will be directed by David Mercatali, will begin performances Oct.1 prior to an official opening Oct. 3, for a run through Oct. 26. Unscorched, a world premiere of a play by the winner of the fifth Papatango New Writing Prize in partnership with the Finborough, will begin performances Oct. 29 prior to an official opening Oct. 31, for a run through Nov. 23. In addition, the theatre will also host Vibrant 2013 -- A Festival of Finborough Playwrights, an annual festival of new writing that will feature 18 new works between Oct. 4 and 25.



The rare revivals of Pristley's Summer's Day Dream (the first production of the play in London in over 60 years, directed by Alex Marker) and Hastings' Lee Harvey Oswald (marking the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President Kennedy, directed by Alex Thorpe) will run Sundays to Tuesdays between Sept. 8-24 and Nov. 3-22 respectively.



An Evening with Dame Diana Rigg will take place Oct. 20 only.
