"Known for witty lyrics, unusual music and some of the greatest ballads in musical theatre Stephen Sondheim has had his 80th birthday celebrated this year with a host of concerts, tributes and revivals," according to press notes. "Now, Jermyn Street Theatre invites you to enjoy a kaleidoscope of his less known and less frequently performed works spanning his career. Focussing on the interpretation rather than formal introductions and narrative history, the performers will bring their individual voices to the songs inviting you to see them in a different context."

Jermyn Street Theatre is located at 16b Jermyn Street. For ticket information visit www.jermynstreettheatre.co.uk.
