London's Olivier Awards are seeking members of the public to join their panel of professional and public judges for the 2016 Olivier Awards.

The next judging period begins Feb. 26, 2015, and will run for approximately a year. Panelists are being sought across four categories: Theatre, Affiliate (smaller non-West End London theatres), Opera and Dance.

Applicants must be 18 years or older, live within easy reach of London and able to commit to seeing all the eligible shows in their category during the judging year. Panelists usually receive two free tickets to each show, plus a complimentary program. The number of shows differs between categories, ranging from around 100 plays and musicals for Theatre, to some 30 performances in Opera.

Panelists will see eligible productions that are put forward by SOLT members, and will also attend the 2016 awards ceremony and after-show party.

To apply, applicants must write a 150 word review of a show they have seen within the past year, and provide a list of productions they have seen in that same period. The deadline for applications is Jan. 19.

The position is unpaid, and expenses are not covered. For further information and a full application form, visit www.olivierawards.com.
