Amongst the new collaborations announced, the theatre will reunite with OperaUpClose — whose production of La Boheme was transferred there from the Cock Tavern last year and recently won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Opera Production — to co-produce a new modern Soho version of Don Giovanni. Marmion will be reunited with playwright Anthony Neilson for his first show as Soho's artistic director following the success of Edward Gant's Amazing Feats of Loneliness to direct the English premiere of Neilson's Realism, originally premiered as part of Scotland's Edinburgh International Festival. In a press statement, Marmion commented, "Soho Theatre wants to make, and offer the best work across live performance. Work, with brave new writers at its heart, that inspires, entertains, moves and challenges. Bold work, that takes risks and says difficult things in incredible ways. We will make plays that people want to see, and through our wide range of work (from stand up, to opera) offer audiences an easy way through the often intimidating doors of a theatre. Our education work and world leading comedy programme are the perfect gateway to the incredible plays and operas we have on our stages, and vice versa. We are at our best when discovering a new generation of audiences and artists."

Realism will begin performances June 9, prior to an official opening June 15, for a run through July 9. Don Giovani will run Aug. 11-Sept. 17.
