News Long Wharf Cancels Dec. 13 Performances Due to Weather The Long Wharf Theatre has canceled Dec. 13 performances of The Black Nativity and The Santaland Diaries due to the winter storm in the Connecticut area.

The first major snowstorm of the season is projected to drop accumulations of five to ten inches. Due to the inclement weather, Long Wharf has canceled the Dec. 13 performances of Langston Hughes' The Black Nativity and David Sedaris' The Santaland Diaries. Ticket holders may call the box office at (203) 787-4282 to exchange their seats for another performance.

The company currently presents The Santaland Diaries (through Dec. 23) and The Black Nativity (through Dec. 16). The season continues with Anna Deavere Smith's Let Me Down Easy (Jan. 9-Feb. 3, 2008), Donald Margulies' Shipwrecked! (Feb. 13-March 16, 2008), Lydia Diamond's The Bluest Eye (March 28-April 20, 2008) and the Richard Rodgers-Oscar Hammerstein musical Carousel (May 7-June 1, 2008).
