"Long Wharf Theatre is bringing to the stage two important world premieres that will begin here and continue to other venues," said Edelstein in a release.  "This is an exciting, well-rounded season of humor, romance, and music, filled with expressions of idealism and hope."

The new season for the company will also include Clifford Odets' Rocket to the Moon, David Sedaris' The Santaland Diaries and a new take on Man of La Mancha. Among special events planned for the season will be a return of Langston Hughes' Black Nativity and the Jazz on the Wharf Series.
