Written by Jeff Steinberg, Dogwater is described as a "dark comedy about a ten-year school reunion." It is scheduled to be shot in Chicago tduring the next few months.

Fifteen of the 17 Lookingglass acting ensemble members will be featured in the film. Schwimmer last directed an adaption of Upton Sinclair's The Jungle at Lookingglass in 1990.
