Fans of Chicago's Lookingglass Theatre Company will get a chance to see their favorite actors on the big screen when David Schwimmer directs fellow members of the Lookingglass ensemble in Dogwater a feature film being produced by FilmColony in assocation with Miramax Films this summer.No release date has been announced.
Written by Jeff Steinberg, Dogwater is described as a "dark comedy about a ten-year school reunion." It is scheduled to be shot in Chicago tduring the next few months.
Fifteen of the 17 Lookingglass acting ensemble members will be featured in the film. Schwimmer last directed an adaption of Upton Sinclair's The Jungle at Lookingglass in 1990.
