News Lord Australian Tour Cancelled After Flately Collapses The Australian and New Zealand tour of Lord of the Dance has been cancelled after the star Michael Flatley collapsed on stage in Brisbane. Michael was admitted to St. Andrews Hospital with a chest infection. He was released on Saturday night but left Australia around 4:45 PM local time Tuesday, December 2. He had been going non-stop, and wore himself out which led to low resistance and a chest infection.

Harley Medcalfe, manager director of tour promoter Duel Entertainment, said the company had returned home today but are very disappointed that the tour had to be cancelled. They have a love of the Australian and New Zealand audiences and will endeavour to return as soon as possible to complete the tour.

People who brought tickets may apply to the place of purchase for a refund.
