News Lorna Luft Will Explore Judy Garland Songbook at Feinstein's Lorna Luft, the actress daughter of the late Judy Garland, will explore her mother's songbook next month at Feinstein's at Loews Regency.

The intimate nightspot's 2011 season will kick off with Songs My Mother Taught Me: The Judy Garland Songbook Jan. 4-9. Luft, according to press notes, "melds one of the world’s most familiar songbooks with personal memories of a loving daughter." In addition to her work on concert stages throughout the world, Lorna Luft has also appeared in several stage musicals, including the Broadway production of Promises, Promises and the Off-Broadway mountings of Snoopy and Extremities. She starred as Rose in a regional production of Gypsy, and her national tour credits include They're Playing Our Song, Jerry Herman's Broadway Years and Songs My Mother Taught Me.

Show time each night is 8:30 PM. Performances have a $40 cover charge with $60 premium seats available; there is also a $25 food-beverage minimum.
