The show will open Feb. 22 for a run currently slated through March 17 in the downtown Manhattan venue.

"Sex. Drugs. Swimming Pools. Traffic. Smog. Carjackings. The search for the next big thing," begins show materials. "This is Los Angeles, where one damaged young woman needs more than a map to find her way through the pitfalls of Tinseltown."

Waterston (daughter of actor Sam Waterston) and Jonathan Walker appear in the work with The Flea's resident acting company The Bats. They include Ben Beckley, Dan Cozzens, Cooper Daniels, Roy Edroso, Evan Enderle, Tanya Fischer, Meredith Holzman, Emily Hyberger, David Skeist, Katherine Waterston and Rob Yang.

The design team features David Korins (set), Miranda Hardy (lighting), Eric Shim (sound) and Erika Munro (costumes).

Sheppard's Buicks earned two Drama Desk nominations in 2003, including one for Outstanding Play. The stage play was recently optioned by Paramount Studios as a sitcom for CBS. Other plays by the scribe include Love and Happiness, Whatever, After America, A Hole in the Earth and From Now On. He also served as head writer on ESPN's "2-Minute Drill" and is currently at work on a stage adaptation of Stephen King's "Misery." Rapp made his Off-Broadway directorial debut recently with his own Red Light Winter (a 2006 Pulitzer Prize finalist) and also staged Christopher Denham's cagelove. As a playwright, he has penned the plays Nocturne, Stone Cold Dead Serious, Finer Noble Gases, Blackbird, Gompers, Bingo with the Indians, Trueblinka and Faster. He is following up his film "Winter Passing" with his second feature, "Blackbird."
