News Louis Prima Sound Evoked in New Musical, Zooma Zooma, in Western New York April 22-May 23 MusicalFare Theatre, Western New York's only professional musical theatre company, makes noise April 22-May 23 with the world premiere of Zooma Zooma: The Essence of Prima, about the indelible jazz artist Louis Prima.

Promising to "blow the roof off this joint," Zooma Zooma features great music and dance featuring a six piece onstage band and Louis Prima songs such as "Jump, Jive and Wail," "Sing, Sing, Sing!" and "Just A Gigolo."

Conceived by Jim Runfola & Michael J. Walline, directed and choreographed by Walline and with music direction by Mark Vona, the musical is billed as a big party. The cast includes Norman Sham, Wendy Hall, Marc Sacco, Michele Maier, Angela Sauers, and Doug Weyand.

Designers are Chris Schenk (set), Chris Cavanagh (lighting and sound) and Michael Chamberlain (costumes).
