The world premiere of Love Is Always the Matter, a play about a distinguished psychiatrist involved in at out-of-control relationship with his oversexed wife, will have its world premiere at the Odyssey Theatre, May 14.
Written and directed by Rick Edelstein, the play stars Adele Robbins (Tim's sister), Kelly Dunham, Clem Jeffreys, Kevin O'Brien, Carmella Mulvihill and David Roberson. The latter appeared recently at the Actor's Theatre in Lousville in Geoffrey Ewing's solo show, Ali.
Edelstein received a Drama-Logue award for the direction of his play Human Scratchings. His other works include Sexual Serendipity, A Whore's Apprentice and Reaching Out.
Dunham, who plays the shrink's wife Claire, has over 200 hours of television credits, including such shows as "Newhart," "Golden Girls" and "Santa Barbara." Robbins began her acting career in New York and has appeared in Los Angeles as Marcus Andronicus in Titus and Andronicus and Irma in The Balcony.
