News Love, Loss, and What I Wore Will Launch Tour in Chicago Nora and Delia Ephron's Love, Loss, and What I Wore, the Off-Broadway play about women, clothes and the memories they trigger, will launch a U.S. tour in Chicago this September.

Produced by Daryl Roth, Love, Loss will play a six-week run at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place Sept. 13-Oct. 23. Karen Carpenter, who staged the work Off-Broadway, will also direct the Chicago engagement.

Additional tour stops and casting have not been announced. The Off-Broadway production features a rotating cast of celebrities.

“We are delighted to launch the national tour of Love, Loss, and What I Wore at the beautiful Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place. I look forward to sharing these funny, poignant and heart‐warming stories with Chicago area audiences," Roth said in a statement.

The production is based on Ilene Beckerman's book of the same name that "uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories that all women can relate to."

Love, Loss, and What I Wore was also seen in Los Angeles at the Geffen Playhouse last summer. A separate production is also currently playing in Paris. Group tickets to Love, Loss, and What I Wore are on sale as part of the Broadway in Chicago series. Single tickets will go on sale at a later date. Phone (312) 977-1710 for tickets.
