Neil Simon's play, according to the official Guthrie website, will also feature Michael Booth (Eddie), Dylan Frederick/Ryan Howell (Arty), Noah Madoff/Ryan McCartan (Jay), Stephen Pelinski (Louie), Finnerty Steeves (Bella) and Suzanne Warmanen (Gert). Gary Gisselman will direct the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy, which will play the Guthrie's Wurtele Thrust Stage Sept. 23-Nov. 12. The official opening night is set for Sept. 29.
Lost in Yonkers, according to the Guthrie, "tells the touching story of an eccentric New York family in crisis in the summer of 1942." The original Broadway production opened at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in February 1991, playing 11 previews and 780 regular performances before closing Jan. 3, 1993. The Broadway company featured Mercedes Ruehl, Kevin Spacey, Irene Worth, Mark Blum, Danny Gerard, Lauren Klein and Jamie Marsh.
