The producers of the Broadway revival of August Wilson's Ma Rainey's Black Bottom canceled the 7 PM Jan. 28 preview performance, due to the hospitalization of one of the show's actors, it was announced.

Carl Gordon, who plays the role of Cutler, was rushed to the emergency room on doctor’s orders after experiencing severe leg pain earlier in the day.
