News   Mac Rae, Nathan and David to Star in Barrington's Disorder: Mother/Daughter Vaudeville

The Barrington Stage Company's inaugural Musical Theatre Lab series will conclude with Disorder: A Mother/Daughter Vaudeville.

Directed by Jack Cummings III, Disorder will play The Berkshire Athenaeum Aug. 17-27. Falsettos's Heather Mac Rae, Assassins' Anne L. Nathan and 1776's Clifford David will star in the musical, which is billed as a "work in progress." Disorder features a book by Katie Baldwin, music by Gihieh Lee and lyrics by Julianne Wick Davis and Baldwin. The musical, according to press notes, seeks to answer the question, "What happens when you come home to a mess and Mom can't find your Dad's urn of ashes?"

The Barrington's Lab series — William Finn is artistic producer — recently presented The Burnt Part Boys and Travels With My Discontent: A New Musical Revue.

The Berkshire Athenaeum is located at 1 Wendell Avenue in Pittsfield, MA. For tickets, priced $25 and $30, call (413) 236-8888 or visit www.barringtonstageco.org.
