Andersen will present his latest show, My Favorite Things, at 7 and 9:30 PM in the hotel's Nancy LaMott Room, named after the cabaret favorite who died in 1995. Cabaretgoers can expect to hear Andersen's renditions of "A Cockeyed Optimist" and "There's a Fine, Fine Line" as well as a mix of pop and country tunes. Musical director Ian Herman will accompany Andersen on piano. The Sunday evening performances mark Andersen's tenth appearance at the New York cabaret.
Five-time MAC Award winner Andersen has played Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, Tavern on the Green, Maxim's, the Russian Tea Room and the Algonquin and was also featured in the Off-Broadway revue Cabariety. Andersen is also the recipient of five Backstage Bistro Awards and two Nightlife Awards.
