News MacIvor's Marion Bridge Extends Off-Broadway Until Nov. 27 Daniel MacIvor's Marion Bridge, which opened quietly Off-Broadway to good reviews, has extended its stay at Urban Stages until Nov. 27.

The play is about three sisters who return home to take care for their mother. "Trapped by life choices and unfulfilled expectations that have left them isolated," production notes read, "the three women search for the courage to create a new family from the remnants of the old." Susan Fenichell directs a cast consisting of Susan Louise O'Connor (a MacIvor regular, having starred in Never Swim Alone and See Bob Run), Henny Russell and Finnerty Steeves.

The Canadian MacIvor has enjoyed considerable success in New York. His plays Never Swim Alone and See Bob Run have had respectable runs Off-Broadway.
