Directed by Ken Rus Schmoll, the limited engagement, originally scheduled through Nov. 13, has been extended through Nov. 20. The cast includes Lauren Culpepper as Early Man 2, Mercedes Herrero as Dean Wreen, Jon Hoche as Early Man 1, Deirdre Madigan as Greer, Flor De Liz Perez as Andromeda and Joel Van Liew as The Caretaker.

Seven Homeless Mammoths Wander New England, according to press notes, "takes place in a small university town, where Dean Wreen’s college is in dire financial straits. The school has announced that it will close its Natural History Museum, and Dean Wreen has to deal with the shock waves that are spreading across campus—and the pages of the local newspaper. At the same time, her ex-girlfriend, Greer, has come back into her life, complicating her new relationship with her much younger girlfriend, Andromeda. Two prehistoric college students, meanwhile, take us through the history of human relationships, without ever moving a muscle. And the shadows of seven about-to-be-homeless mammoths loom over everything."

Other members of the creative team include scenic designer Arnulfo Maldonado, costume designer Kirche Leigh Zeile, lighting designer Matt Frey, sound designer and composer Ryan Rumery and stage manager Julia P. Jones.

During the run of Seven Homeless Mammoths, members of the audiences are invited to stay following every performance (not including Oct. 29) to discuss the production, the themes and ideas it inspires, and the process of developing and producing a new play with members of the artistic staff.

Audio-described performances will be Nov. 9 at 1 PM and Nov. 12 at 8 PM. An open-captioned performance is scheduled for Nov. 12 at 3 PM. Two River Theater Company is located at 21 Bridge Avenue in Red Bank, NJ. For more information and tickets, call (732) 345-1400 or visit www.trtc.org.
