Variety reports that the cast of the Rapp film will also include Zooey Deschanel, Amelia Warner and "Saturday Night Live" alum Will Ferrell. The Stratus-financed motion picture — "Winter Passing" — marks the fifth time that Madigan and Harris have co-starred in a feature film. Rapp, whose plays include Faster, Trueblinka and Stone Cold Dead, will begin filming "Winter Passing" in New York next month. According to the industry paper, "Madigan plays a theater actress who has become a surrogate mother for a young woman who returns home to her estranged father and the unusual group of people who have been living with him. Harris plays the father."
Producers of "Winter Passing" include Bob Yari, Mark Gordon, Laura Bickford, Jennifer Dana and David Koplan.
