Corte de Locura (Shear Madness), the longest running play in the history of American Theater will receive its Mexican premiere Nov. 8 at the Foro Shakespeare in Mexico City.

Set in a unisex hairstyling salon that is the scene of the murder of a famous pianist, Shear Madness is the hilarious mystery comedy that lets the audience solve the crime.

Javier Diaz Duenas, from the Mexican casts of The Most Happy Fella and La Cage Aux Folles is starring and directing this hit comedy which was written by Paul Portner and adapted by Marilyn Adams and Bruce Jordan. Rogelio Guerra (Death and the Maiden, Mame, Irma La Douce) and Cecilia Romo (Hello Dolly!, Me and My Girl) are also in the cast.

Shear Madness recently celebrated its 10th anniversary performance at the Kennedy Centers Theatre Lab, while the Boston production is now in its 18th year of success.
