News Madonna Proves She's Having Fun in London Stage Debut

Madonna let the photographers into rehearsals earlier this week to prove that the increasingly bizarre rumors about backstage behavior in the run up to Up For Grabs's opening later this month (May 23) are unfounded, and that the cast — and director Laurence Boswell — get along fine.

David Williamson's play has completely sold out, and although the first three previews (May 9, 10 and 11) have been canceled, extra performances are expected to be arranged to enable those who booked for the three canceled shows to see the play.

Matinees during the run have also been canceled, however, so Up For Grabs is definitely an evening event.
