Martin announced Sept. 23 on ABC's "The View" that she will perform with the U.S. national tour Oct. 7-19 at the Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco, CA. As previously announced, she will also join the tour Oct. 21-Nov. 9 at the Hollywood Pantages (located at 6233 Hollywood Boulevard).

Arnaz will play Berthe through Oct. 5 on tour before her run at Broadway's Music Box Theatre, which will be Oct. 9-Nov. 9.

Prior to her Broadway return, Tony Award winner Priscilla Lopez is Berthe. She returns to the role — having played Berthe this summer — Sept. 23.

With a book by Roger O. Hirson and music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, Pippin features direction by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus, choreography by Tony Award nominee Chet Walker in the style of Bob Fosse and circus creation by Gypsy Snider of the Montreal-based circus company Les 7 doigts de la main (7 Fingers).

The current Broadway cast features Kyle Dean Massey as Pippin, Carly Hughes as Leading Player, Tony Award nominee John Dossett as Charles, Tony Award nominee Charlotte d'Amboise as Fastrada and Rachel Bay Jones as Catherine with Mike Schwitter, Eli Tokash, Ashton Woerz, Mackenzie Bell, Colin Cunliffe, Ariana DeBose, Andrew Fitch, Orion Griffiths, Lauren Joy Herley, Naël Jammal, Nicolas Jelmoni, Sam Lips, Richard Maguire, Brad Musgrove, Charlotte O'Sullivan, Adam Roberts, Masha Terentieva, Kristen Beth Williams and Lara Seibert Young.  As previously announced, NBC's "The Voice" winner Josh Kaufman will join the show in the title role Nov. 4-Jan. 4, 2015.

The touring production currently stars Sasha Allen ("The Voice," "Camp," Hair) as Leading Player, Tony Award winner John Rubinstein (who created the role of Pippin in the 1972 original Broadway production) as Charles, Sabrina Harper (Pippin, original Broadway revival cast) as Fastrada, Kristine Reese (Wicked on tour) as Catherine and Lucie Arnaz as Berthe.

Matthew James Thomas, who originated the role of Pippin in the current revival, stepped into that role for the entire Denver engagement, which began Sept. 6 at the Buell Theatre. Kyle Selig, who was scheduled to star in the title role, is taking a medical leave of absence for vocal rest.

Thomas will also play both the San Francisco and Los Angeles engagements of the musical. Performances in San Francisco are scheduled for Sept. 23-Oct. 19 at the SHN Golden Gate Theatre; Los Angeles performances at the Hollywood Pantages are Oct. 21-Nov. 9.

Pippin, according to press notes, "tells the story of a young prince on a death-defying journey to find meaning in his existence. Will he choose a happy but simple life? Or will he risk everything for a singular flash of glory?"
