News "Magic to Do": Ben Vereen's "Steppin' Out Live" Album Arrives in Stores Feb. 15 Tony Award-winning stage veteran Ben Vereen releases his live concert album "Steppin' Out Live" Feb. 15 on the Ghostlight Records label. The 11-track CD was recorded live during Vereen's concert engagement at Hartford Stage in July 2010.

Bob Freed and Rich Bomberowitch produce the album that highlights Vereen's stage career as well as American standards. The album release coincides with Vereen's Town Hall concert Feb. 18 in New York City as part of the venue's 90th anniversary season.

A Tony Award winner for his role in Pippin, Vereen has also appeared on Broadway in Wicked, Fosse, Chicago, Jesus Christ Superstar, Hair and I'm Not Rappaport. He was also featured in the television miniseries "Roots."
