"An original musical with Latin overtones, Magpie is the story of two young, emotionally challenged lovers set in the world of bicycle messengers," according to Amas.
The reading cast will feature Mathew Alexander, Al Bundonis, Danielle Chambers, Jed Dickson, Lisa Ferraro, Jessica Fields, Lynette Marerro, Maxx, Keith Mahoney, Ronny Mercedes, and Eliseo Roman.
Edward Gallardo's credits include Selena Forever and Women Without Men, and Gary William Friedman wrote The Me Nobody Knows and Sheba.
