Part of the Reprise! Broadway's Best "Marvelous Musical Monday" series, the one-night-only event will also feature the talents of Stuart Ambrose, Kevin Chamberlin, Kevin Earley, Heather Lee, Beth Malone, Karen Morrow, Robert Picardo and Nita Whitaker. David Lee will direct with musical direction by Ed Martel. Show time is 8 PM. A New Brain — featuring a score by Finn and a book by James Lapine — is semi-autobiographical, based on Finn's scrape with brain disease that was discovered around the time of his Tony Award win for Falsettos. The darkly comic and quirky show premiered in 1998 at the Mitzi Newhouse Theater where it played a summer run starring Gets, and later Lewis Cleale. A cast album resulted. It has since sprouted in regional productions.

Malcolm Gets was most recently on Broadway in the short-lived Michel Legrand musical Amour. His other New York theatre credits include Finian's Rainbow, The Molière Comedies, Boys and Girls, A New Brain, Hello Again, Merrily We Roll Along, Two Gentlemen of Verona and the City Center Encores! production of The Boys From Syracuse. He spent four years as Richard on TV's "Caroline in the City," and his other screen credits include "Thirteen Conversations About One Thing" and "Love in the Time of Money." Gets can also be heard on Barbara Cook's "Mostly Sondheim" CD.
